NBER Economists Predate the Business Cycle Trough by 15 Months

This epiphany from trough to recovery in the current 12th business cycle since World War II apparently occurred in June 2009; or, more accurately, sometime in mid-year 2009.

The surprise announcement mitigated what appeared to be an extremely long recession, on a crash course to becoming the longest since the Great Depression of the 1930’s.That Godzilla dragged on 43 months. But NBER erased that possibility, by declaring it actually ended 15 months ago; at least, so we are told by the pundits there.

Will Timing of Business Cycle Trough Impact November Elections

Now Americans will go to the polls in November, schmoozed if Democrats or skeptical if Republicans by the long-awaited, invisible recovery that is underway.
